چکیده
Background: Soft tissue paradigm shift has accentuated significance of soft variables in diagnosis & treatment planning. Aim: To find a correlation between facial tissues and underlying vertical patterns young untreated patients. Methods: The lateral cephalograms 170 individuals were divided into three equal groups, i.e., long, average, short face, accordance with the patterns. This was done using cross-sectional research design. Upper lower lip lengths extent protrusion measured for each individual. Non-probability consecutive sampling done. relationship face pattern examined Pearson Correlation test less than 0.05 p-value held statistically significant. Result: Significant upper form found. Similarly significant positive lips Conclusion: Cephalometric analyses suggest dimensions conform to skeletal long have increased procumbent lips. MeSH words: analysis, Cross-sectional study, Vertical pattern, Lip length
